WHAT TO EXPECT

B Corp Leadership Development (BLD) Western Canada is an exclusive, all-day conference organized for B Corporations by B Corporations. In its second year, this conference builds development skills for all employees. It also allows businesses collectively unite towards the greater good of the world.

The power of the B Corp community lies in our ability to support one another - to come together in the face of division. When businesses go low, we go high. We define success by the positive influence we have in the workplace, community, and the world. Solidified in our mission to do what’s right, come together with your fellow B Corps to not only raise the bar, but Rise Above.

#RISEABOVEBLD

EDUCATE

Learn from industry thought leaders over a series of keynote speakers and group breakouts sessions. Through communal learning and peer-to-peer support, attendees will come out with a fresh perspective on how to amplify their impact and inspire peers, their community and the world.

ORGANIZE

Dramatically improve individual and organizational leadership skills by learning from the best in the business. Attendees will learn how fellow B Corps use their certification as a platform to take charge and Rise Above the world’s social, economic and environmental challenges.

Engage

Network, meet fellow B Corporations and community peers and engage in interactive group breakout sessions. The goal of BLD Western Canada is that attendees walk away inspired, engaged, and ready to take action.

Diversity & Inclusion

BLD Western Canada enthusiastically encourages diverse participation. We welcome attendees of all backgrounds, races, religions, abilities, identities, and from every level of your company. In the spirit of the B Corp Inclusion challenge, we encourage leaders to personally invite staff and broaden the conference’s attendee list.
